Grana Padano
The best-selling DOP cheese in the world, a source of wellbeing, and the fruit of the unforgettable traditions of its territory of origin, which create its flavour and character.
Our Piaceri Italiani Grana Padano DOP is produced by following, step by step, the precise procedures of the Rules of the Consortium of Grana Padano, which approves the methods and superior-quality raw ingredients, in order to serve the undisputed quality of a great classic at your table.
Piaceri Italiani Grana Padano DOP, good for everyone
In order to guarantee the best Grana Padano DOP, we place our trust in those with over 80 years of experience in the field, processing 66 million litres of milk from 4300 animals every year, and choosing the most reputable local producers. This way we always have every phase of the production chain under control, from feeding the cows right up to the finished product.
Over time, the production processes have been perfected, in order to obtain a Grana Padano that is good for you, good for the environment, and good for the growth of the region.
The perfect shape
Everything starts with raw milk, semi-skimmed using natural surface skimming. A serum is then mixed with the milk, to add the lactic bacteria that will transform the milk into cheese. Then, when it reaches the temperature of 31-33°C, the rennet is added, which will cause the milk to become curd, which will then be cooked and left to rest so that it forms the traditional wheels of Grana Padano. Our Piaceri Italiani Grana Padano DOP spends 20 months in the maturing warehouse, acquiring the flavour and characteristics that make it such a special cheese, appreciated all over the world.
Taste and wellbeing
Our 20-month Grana Padano DOP, rich in nutrients and naturally lactose-free, contains many nutrients essential for our health, from the first months of life right up to old age.
Useful as a source of energy for those practising sport, it is perfect as a condiment in a great many dishes, thanks to its full, but not overly strong flavour and an aroma with hints of nuts and hay.
